EPUB Fixer does not guess author intent.
The scanner is limited to deterministic structure problems that can be checked and revalidated. If a fix needs editorial, design, or layout judgment, V1A reports the issue instead of changing the book.
Not accepted
- DOCX, PDF, KPF, KCB, ZIP archives, or Kindle Previewer logs instead of an .epub file
- fixed-layout EPUB, comics, manga, children's picture books, and image-first books
- DRM-protected, encrypted, multimedia, JavaScript-heavy, or complex interactive EPUB files
- books that require OCR cleanup, source image replacement, or a full re-export from the design tool
Not repaired
- cover design, typography, visual styling, page layout, or book formatting quality
- rewriting chapter text, choosing author intent, renaming sections, or deciding reading order
- KDP account, tax, payment, review, listing, category, or pricing problems
- missing source files where the EPUB package does not contain a safe replacement target
